Random Photos - One
I'm not sure what I'll post here, probably just various photos as the mood strikes me. Maybe a structure will develop as I go. That's often how I sculpt, write, do makeup and photography--try something and see how it evolves. The method has worked pretty well so far.
I have around 13,000 photos I've taken in my work on movies, so these 'random pages' may become many. I'll re-title the pages as things develop. LEFT. Three bums heading into Raleigh Studios to shoot the transformation sequence in A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2; FREDDY'S REVENGE, July 1985. L-R Greg Punchatz, Anthony Showe, Mark Patton's head, some guy in a Felix the Cat T-shirt & John Blake. RIGHT. A photo I shot of Robert Englund and Kevin Yagher on the set of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS. Freddy in a tux no less. Almost forgot, TOP PHOTO: Two of the nicest makeup rooms I ever worked in--with two of the nicest people. That's Toni G and Lance Anderson setting up our room for THE X-FILES. It had a spectacular view of snow covered northern Canada. The other room is an entire top floor of a marble floored building for JAVA HEAT. |
Holy Shit!
BELOW LEFT: Seeing if the silver spheres Steve Patino made for PHANTASM 2 can actually drill.
MIDDLE: An alien abduction during MEN IN BLACK. David Anderson and I applied the makeups for Rick Baker. I believe Aaron Sims did the sculptures for them. RIGHT: Although the X-FILES makeup room was warm and cozy, the set was anything but. On top of a glacier, with a blizzard coming. |
